We’re a small organization with strong community values. Our freeholders own the Ben Davis Conservancy District – so there are no profits or shareholders. Our purpose is to provide reliable and affordable sanitary sewer service to our community.

The freeholders elect our board of directors, and the board is accountable to the Marion County Circuit Court.

We’re transparent and disclose financial documents and meeting records to the public.

2023 Proposed Budget Resolution

2023 Proposed Salary Resolution

In 2022, the Ben Davis Conservancy District passed a resolution to increase the compensation of its Board of Directors. After deliberation, the Board has determined NOT to accept the resolution. The Board of Directors determined the resolution was not in the best interest of the district and will maintain its compensation with the hope of future savings for users.
